This sculpture is the result of a short workshop exploring the concepts of "anti-monumental structures". This work specifically explores fragility and delicacy by utilising materials which are impermanent and a process that is intuitive. The words that follow are meant as an accompaniment and a reflection on the result.

Resilient, 2019, wood, plaster, jute

two lengths brought together by messy heart strings

delicately balancing a moment

ready to drop in an instant

another length bending in elegance

held in place with the rough and the raw

each finding their resilience through fragility
