TEACHING
I approach teaching from the perspective of a facilitator who provides and guides learning opportunities. Committed to ensuring equity, diversity, and inclusivity, I actively incorporate these values into my research and teaching practice. To develop my knowledge and effectiveness of anti-oppressive practices, I completed a Post-Bachelor's Diploma in Social Justice; as a result, many of the reflexive exercises have become embedded in my daily interactions engaged with research, its dissemination, and teaching.
A distinct combination of professional experiences informs my teaching, including presenting portfolio development workshops, leading public programs at art galleries, providing one-on-one tutorials, hosting artist residencies, and, most recently, lecturing in arts and design at the undergraduate and graduate levels. I continue to develop my teaching skills and recently obtained Associate Fellowship status from Advance HE, UK. I am qualified to teach a wide range of graduate courses in contemporary arts and creative writing and am enthusiastic about teaching undergraduate courses.

Propelled by a belief in the value of knowledge exchange, I supported the coordination of the Practice Research Assembly as a research assistant, a programme of workshops and events convened by Professor Maria Fusco and funded by SGSAH.
I view the research process as an ongoing and reciprocal dialogue, not simply between a researcher, output, or the audience, but it also facilitates an opportunity to exchange ideas and shift perceptions. I believe the opportunity to share and express one’s research aloud is an empowering and vital part of any researcher’s experience.
I enjoy creating supportive spaces for Master's students, PhD Candidates, and fellow ECRs to express their research ideas and outputs. To facilitate these spaces, I host writing retreats online and in person, offer one-to-one viva prep, and provide feedback on writing and presentations. If you think I might be able to support your research journey, I welcome enquiries.
